Polymer polyethylene cables are widely used in many fields due to their excellent performance. The following is a guide to the correct use of polymer polyethylene cables:
Performance characteristics of polymer polyethylene cables
Light weight: about 87.5% lighter than steel wire ropes of the same diameter, easy to operate and carry. High strength: one of the highest strength ropes in the world, about 15 times the strength of steel wire ropes of the same diameter. Durability: excellent resistance to seawater, chemicals, UV radiation and repeated temperature differences. Easy to operate: safe to use, short operation time, suitable for fast maneuvering occasions.
Precautions for the use of polymer polyethylene cables
Installation tension: It is recommended that the rope be installed on a winch under certain tension conditions (10-15% breaking strength) when used. Avoid contact: Keep a small angle or use a guide cable to avoid contact between the cable and the winch and flange, as well as contact with rough surfaces, sharp objects, steel cables, heat sources, etc. Winding requirements: Ensure that the diameter D of the wheel group for winding the cable, such as the groove wheel, roller, pulley, etc., is 10 times larger than the diameter d of the rope. Use a "U"-shaped fishing groove, and the diameter of the fishing groove must be 10-15% larger than the diameter of the cable. Storage conditions: Store and operate the rope at a temperature below 50°C, away from heat sources and open flames, and the ambient temperature must be below 70°C.
Application areas of polymer polyethylene cables
Marine, fishery and coastal industries: used for offshore salvage systems, rescue systems, offshore oil platform systems, etc. Yacht series: used for sail cables, sail foot cables, halyards, etc. for sailboats. Sports series: used for fishing line series, gliding cables, parachute cables, climbing cables, etc. Military series: used for naval cables, parachute cables for paratroopers and other sailing ropes, helicopter slings, rescue cables, etc.

Plasticity: Observe its plasticity to ensure that it has good compression resistance and extension work ability. Tightness: Ensure that the cable can maintain tightness for a long time without loosening. Heat resistance: It is not easy to melt or deform under high temperature and pressure. Surface quality: The surface is bright and soft to the touch.
